Synopsis For Long Island Waters And New York Harbor
A coastal low will move from the New Jersey coast this morning...south of Long Island to near Cape Cod by this evening. This low will then intensify and track slowly northeast through the Gulf of Maine tonight and into the Canadian maritime provinces on Thursday and Thursday night. High pres will build over the area Friday...then slowly slide offshore Friday night. A clipper system will track across the tri-state on Saturday. High pressure then builds in from the west into Sunday.
